The Triumph Speedmaster is also known as Triumph Bonneville America in the United States. The Triumph Speedmaster powerplant consist of a 5-speed gear transmission, 865cc air-cooled, DOHC, parallel-twin, 270° firing interval, 54 bhp at 6,500 rpm, twin carburettors with throttle position sensor, electric carburettor heaters fuel system engine with Digital inductive type ignition. The Triumph Speedmaster 900 is fitted with Swingarm twin-sided, tubular steel 41 mm forks for the front suspension and Chromed spring twin shock absorbers with adjustable preload for the rear suspension. Braking System consists of twin 310 mm discs, 2 piston calipers for the front brakes and a single 285 mm disc, 2 piston caliper for the rear brakes. The Triumph Speedmaster 900 has twin shocks and wide-style telescopic forks to straighten the curves and iron out humps and bumps, giving a much comfortable sinuous ride. |
