The Suzuki TL1000R Superbike is powered by an Electronic Dual-Stage Fuel Injection, 995cc, 4-stroke, 19 hp V-twin liquid-cooled, DOHC, 8-valve engine. Most bike riders are happy to own a TLR Superbike. However, whether you are buying a new motor bike or a used secondhand motorcycle, you should always make it your prime duty to check that bike. Some bike owners has found several faults on their new motorcycles and strangely enough, one of the bikes that had faults was a Suzuki TL1000R Superbike. The distraught owner found that if the bike was left in the rain or if he had washed the bike, water would trickle into the bike's electrical connector which gradually rots the connector. The entire wiring system had to be replaced. Solution to this type of problem! Dress the connectors with electrical grease and then apply silicon all over. Of course, you're bound to get the odd motorcycle with faults due to mass production
tooling. |
