in the picture above was taken on Saturday 23rd June 2007 at the Motorcycle World show located on the grounds of the renown Beaulieu National Motor Museum in Beaulieu, Southampton nearby New Forest where the MonsterMob Ducati 998RS Corse racing motorcycle bike was on display to the public. In 1975 the first Ducati 900 series sport bike appeared fitted with twin megaphone exhaust, it had a 5-speed chain-drive transmission, twin disc brakes fitted to the front and for the rear wheel brake a single disc. This Ducati motorcycle was the 900SS sport bike. Racing great Mike Hailwood won the 1978 Isle of Man TT on a near standard version of the Ducati 900SS and a Mike Hailwood Replica was later marketed with a racing fairing and fitted with seats based on Mike Hailwood's motorbike. |
