The Kawasaki SI-250 Motorcycle has become a collectors dream bike, bike lovers are busy restoring these rare bikes. The 1972 Kawasaki SI-250 Motorcycle came to life a second time after avid restoration and paintwork. When the new owner Richard Young bought the Kawasaki SI 250, the bike chassis was in an extremely bad order and whoever had the bike before Richard had acquired the bike for restoration to its original state as it was in 1972, he found that the Kawasaki SI-250 was powder coated and the powder coating was extremely poor. One thing for sure restoring these Kawasaki SI 250's may not be an easy task, but there are still loads of spares. Years ago British bikes such as Norton, BSA and Triumph had ruled the roost until the Japanese and Italians began to produced better high performance bikes. Honda, Kawasaki and Benelli motorcycles hit the market with bikes that outshone British and American motorbikes. |
