The Kawasaki GPz-750 Turbo Bike featured featured digital fuel injection, with an Hitachi HT-10B turbocharger fitted. It is said that out of all the Japanese Motorcycle Manufacturers that experiment with turbo charged motorbikes Kawasaki was the most successful. Kawasaki entered the race and outshine them all with the GPz-750 Turbocharged Motorcycle. The Kawasaki GPz-750 was in production from 1983 until 1985 when Kawasaki cease making the GPz-750 Turbo Bike. The Kawasaki GPz750 is a Sportsbike that is powered by a 739cc, 4-stroke, transverse 4-cylinder, air-cooled, DOHC, 2 valve per cylinder, 112 hp (82.4kW) @ 6500 rpm engine. The Kawasaki Motorcycle Company began development on turbocharged bikes in January 1981 of which the first turbocharged bike they produced was a 650 and with continual experiments on turbo engines for bikes then finally the GPz-750 Turbo Bike. |
