Honda Varadero was introduced to the public in 1998 at the Munich Motorcycle Show. 1999 Honda XL1000V Varadero is powered by a 996cc Liquid-cooled 4-stroke 8-valve DOHC 90° V-twin PGM-FI electronic fuel injection .4273 hp engine which is capable of producing a maximum speed of 130.5mph. Ignition system is Computer-controlled digital transistorised with electronic advance connected to a 6 speed gear change control by a cable operated wet multiplate clutch transmission with final drive by 530 chain. The Honda XL1000V has a fuel tank capacity for 25 litres plus a 4-litre warning light reserve, oil capacity. Fitted with a wide padded seat for comfort, the Honda XL100V Varadero is more of a touring bike, rather than a sport bike. |
