The Ducati Vtwin GT1000 Motorcycle engineers has taken a page from past relating to the Ducati Vtwin Sport Classic GT750 that first came on the motorbike scene in 1971 and which is still regarded by many, as the most attractive motorbike ever built. The Ducati Vtwin GT1000 is the only Sport Classic Bike to be equipped with a pillion seat. The Ducati Vtwin GT1000 is powered by the latest version of Ducati's 992cc, air-cooled, dual-spark Vtwin, similar L-shaped cooling fins as the 1971 Vtwin version but with the latest Testastretta Ducati typed cylinder head design and Magnetic Marelli 5AM fuel-injection  engine. The Ducati GT1000 has 43 mm Marzocchi upside-down front forks, as per the Sport 1000, the rear suspension is authentic 1970s design and styling; dual Sach rear aluminium shocks, top collars, black springs and bright zinc-coated shock bodies. Everything about this Ducati bike is nostalgic orientated.
