The Ducati M900 Monster Motorcycle was first introduced to the public in 1993. The Ducati M900s (the "S" stands for Special) Monster has a 904cc, air-and-oil cooled, two-valves per cylinder, 90-degree Desmodromic V-twin, 92 x 68 mm bore/stroke, 70 bhp @ 8000 rpm engine that can produce a maximum speed of 130mph. This Ducati M900 Monster bike is also equipped with an Hydraulic clutch system containing of two separate hydraulic tanks, 2 Mikuni BDST 38 mm Carburettor and 6-speed chain drive transmission, The Ducati M900s Monster Bike supplied with fully adjustable 41mm Showa front fork and a single Sachs-Boge shock absorbers with spring preload and rebound damping adjustment for smoother rides over those bumpy city roads. It is significant to note that the same engine which power the Ducati M900s, is also the same engine fitted used to power the Ducati 900ss Motorcycle. |
