The Ducati Desmo 500 is powered by a 5 speed chain drive transmission, air cooled, four stroke, parallel twin cylinder, SOHC, 2 valve per cylinder Desmodromic valve control with a 3.1 x 2.0 inches Bore/Stroke. The owner of this bike states that the Ducati Desmo 500 is seriously the most comfortable ride he has ever had on any kind of motorcycle. The road handling performance of the Ducati Desmo 500 is superb in comparison to other motor bikes in the same class. The present owner of this Ducati Desmo would like to keep the bike for the occasional once or twice a year show events. |
